So after playing a mere 183 hours , I’ve come to terms that some things could be improved or added to the game. This is some of the issues i would like added, in no particular order.
Cheats : Growing up in the 90’s, video games used to have something called cheat codes. I think modern gaming lost a bit of that appeal that you could go online, get some cheat codes, and get the things you needed if you were stuck somewhere or just wanted to rip things of the wall because you had a bad day. Orc must die, fortunately for us, have a bunch of fantastic modder around that gave us some mods that completely changed the game in way. As a matter of fact, some of those mods were eventually included in the game and turned things around when it comes to content. Mods that I would love be added to the main game is
1- Infinite money : sometime, i just dont want to worry about cash, or placement of traps. The mod thats gives you just this is fantastic, and could be included in a cheat menu on the main screen.
2-Place trap wherever you feel like it : I love the magic blue orbs, and being able to place them on the floor, ceiling, or basically anywhere is just pure chaos and fun, especially in that first killbox on Order baths. Can i tell you, nothing gets out of this, nothing.

3- Fast running : One thing that I would like, that i suggested a mod be made out of , would be the ability to just run fast. I think it would be great for those maps that are huge. Again , this came out of my favorite game on N64 golden eye, which had a cheat to just go fast.
4- Pick your poison : A cheat that could give you the control of the type of enemies that gets sent on a map, want to play with just flyers coming out? Not that i want this, but I think that one thing that could be cool is just choosing the enemy type that is coming out. This would open the door to silly community challenges.
5-Mega Boss Rush : A specially made map where all 4 bosses are on the map. People whining that the game is not tough enough would be served I think with this. To keep things interesting you put it on a multi rift map with not a whole lot of walls and ceiling or just lots of decorative object that makes the map not trap friendly.
6- Weather mode : One of the mods that i really did enjoy was the weather mode. Being able to just have rain or night right off the bat was fantastic. I didnt like the multi mission that much, starting a fresh game every time is more my style. To get some of the achievements, you had to play more than one mission, to MAYBE get the weather you needed, this was kind of a piss off for me since i never bothered to continue a mission long enough or i wouldnt get the level I wanted to play, this fixes that and I’m very appreciative for it and I think it should have been included in the game from the get-go.
Other things I would love added to the game
Sell all traps. This is pretty much self explanatory, a keybind to just sell everything and start from scratch is good. Maybe i dont feel like going around the level and sell traps? Yeah this mod fixes that and it should be included in the game from the start.
More ways to spend skulls. So lets just be honest with ourselves, the economy of that game was a bit lopsided from the start. all you had to do to get the 99,999 required to buy the extra skins was to do a few missions with the gamble forward. I would love if the dev would:
A : Remove the cap for skulls
B : Remove the gamble forward
C : Introduce character that you can unlock with skulls.
D: Lock the elixirs behind skulls , lock them with an amount of skulls required to be able to purchase them. Lets say you need 10k skulls to unlock the elixirs, then you can pay to purchase it with 1000 skulls. This could also be made available with items spread across the maps to give player an incentive to go and look around, not just install traps.
Those 4 things combined would, in my opinion, give some much needed longevity to the game. Eventually you would get back to something that requires a decent amount of grinding and have the ability to unlock more.
This is just a few examples of thing that would make the game better for me. I think its a sorta small addition that would change the game for a whole lot of people. Finding the mods and installing them can be challenging for a few folks so embedding this in the game would be fine. I think the developpers could have listened a bit more to the community in that sense. At the end of the day, i know finding the right balance for all of this is extremely hard.
